The remote access software to the left and one that we currently use is Distant Desktop, This is just a file you run (No software to Install) and it is safe. When you open the file (DistantDesktop.exe), the dialog form shown here will appear. The computer will be assigned an ID (which never changes for that computer), and a password that will be different each time you open the application. This ensures BAAC can only access your PC with your permission to remote connect to pc. For BAAC support you will provide us a screen shot or tell us the ID and password. We then open Distant Desktop here and use the Connect button. We will then see your PC and can assist with installation/training/questions. Click this link or the image to go to the page that allows you to download DistantDesktop.exe.
The remote access software shown to the left is GetScreen.exe, unlike distantdesktop.exe This software you download and run to install before you remote connect to pc, it will place a GetScreen.me icon on your desktop, this to is safe. When you open the file (GetScreen.me), the dialog form shown here will appear. A url will appear that you can click the Copy Link, then email baacsupport@comcast.net, we will then go to that url and connect via a browser. We will then have control to assist with installation/training/questions. Note the last part of the urls is a password that will change each time you open the application. This ensures BAAC can only access your PC with your permission. Click this link to go to the page that allows you to download GetScreen.exe.
